In the following you will find the answers to the questions most frequently asked by our customers.

Can I cancel my order?
The ANNE SPANG clothes are tailor made after the individual customer's body measurements and choice of fabric and design. To keep delivery time down we start producing your unique item shortly after the order has been transmitted. Therefore it is not possible to cancel an order or return a product unless you discover a fault or deficiency in the product delivered. Such products will be changed or replaced free of charge. If you have made a data entering mistake during the order process please contact us immediately and we will do everything possible to have the mistake corrected. 

What is the delivery time of ANNE SPANG made-to-measure clothes?
ANNE SPANG's delivery time is within 3 weeks from the date payment is received. During holidays a few more days of delivery time most be expected. The delivery is free of charge.

How is my new clothes delivered?
The delivery is free of charge by post.

Do you deliver outside Denmark as well?
Yes, ANNE SPANG delivers anywhere free of charge.

How will my new clothes be packed during delivery?
You will receive your new tailor made clothes packed in a flat protective box. Inside the box your new clothes will be wrapped in tissue paper to prevent it from wrinkling. When unpacking your new clothes you will therefore find it no more wrinkled than it will usually straighten out when left on a hanger for a little while. If necessary, please hang your new clothes in your bathroom when showering or taking a bath and the steam will help straighten the wrinkles out.  

  

Under which conditions are my clothes produced?
Ethical, social and environmental responsibility is important to ANNE SPANG. We have personally visited and selected our tailors - both in Europe and in Asia - to ensure the best product quality and to check that no children are employed and that the working conditions are acceptable.
Furthermore, almost all ANNE SPANG fabrics are delivered by highly respected European mills.

 

What do I do if I discover a fault or deficiency in a delivered product?
Of course you have the right to return faulty or damaged products received from ANNE SPANG. Any fault or deficiency in products delivered by ANNE SPANG must be cited within a reasonable period of time after the fault has been discovered. If you discover a fault, you must contact ANNE SPANG as soon as possible.
And of course, if the size, the fabric or the design of your new clothes is not as ordered it will be changed or replaced free of charge.



Can I measure myself?
Yes, it is possible to take your own measurements. We recommend you to print our measurement guide and make somebody help you measuring if possible. Please read our guidelines through and thoroughly take and write down all the relevant measures before entering the measurements into the system. Please note that all 3 dimensional measurements must be taken off the body (for instance the waist measurement). The 2 dimensional measurements can be taken with clothes on or from another well fitting garment.

Can you file my personal measurements for future orders?
Yes, your measurements will be saved at your profile for future orders so you don't have to enter them every time you are ordering. Of course you can choose to change or adjust the filed measurements if you have gained or lost a little weight or if you for instance want to order your next pants a little longer for higher heels.


You can only order to one person at a time, as the order is based on personal measurements. If you would like to shop for more than one person, you can complete the ordering process separately for each person under different personal profiles at no extra costs with regard to handling and shipping the order. Please note, though, that the personal profiles must be linked to different email addresses, as it is NOT possible to create more than one personal profile for a single email address.
If you would like to order for a third party, he or she must have a personal profile linked to an email address different from the one connected to your own profile, and of course you need to know the measurements of the relevant person as all ANNE SPANG clothes is made-to-measure.

  

How do I order:

The procedure for placing an order in the ANNE SPANG shop is as follows:
1. Choose between clothes for women or men
2. Choose the product, a jacket for instance
3. Choose fabric quality/price
4. Choose fabric colour/pattern
5. Choose basic style (of the jacket for instance)
6. Choose between ordering the basic style as it is or to alter the design as you wish
7. Enter your alteration choices to the basic style, if chosen
8. Add to cart.
9. If you want to continue shopping, please repeat step 1 to 9
10. Proceed to checkout and measurement guide
11. Create new account or login to existing one
12. Enter new or approve existing personal measurements
13. Choose method of payment
14. Approve the order
15. Receive the order confirmation by e-mail

How long will it take from placing an order to receiving my new made-to-measure clothes?

Yes, ANNE SPANG delivers any where free of charge.

What happened to my order?
You will by e-mail receive an order confirmation within one hour. If not, your order probably did not go through. Please contact ANNE SPANG for assistance.


Payment

When will I have to pay for the made-to-measure clothes that I order?
ANNE SPANG is producing unique tailor made clothes after the specific body measurements and choice of fabric and design of the single customer. Therefore you will have to pay when ordering your new clothes.

How can I pay for my new made-to-measure clothes?
ANNE SPANG accepts the following credit cards: Dankort, MasterCard, Maestro, Visa, Visa Electron, JCB and American Express.
The card information is transferred to ANNE SPANG via a secure connection (SSL). The bank approves the information and forwards it to ANNE SPANG. ANNE SPANG will draw the amount when the order handling process begins.

Is online payment secure?
According to PBS and Danish banks, payment on the Internet is secure
- especially if you observe some simple rules. Further details about consumer security are available at www.forbrugersikkerhed.dk.



How are my personal data treated?
At ANNE SPANG you must state your personal data such as body measurements, name, address, phone number, e-mail etc. when placing your order. Your personal data are stored on a protected server and are secure at ANNE SPANG. Personal data are not disclosed to a third party without your consent and ANNE SPANG will never sell this information or in any other way disclose it without your permission.
Please note, that we have no access to your bank information.



What does the price cover? And is VAT included?
All prices at the ANNE SPANG website are list prices including Danish VAT (25%) and shipping costs.
We are not responsible for misprints, and prices can be changed without notice.



Can I rest assure that the quality of ANNE SPANG made to measure clothes will meet my expectations?

Yes, we guarantee you, that there will be no compromises with regards to quality when ordering ANNE SPANG made to measure clothes - the tailor work, the fabrics and the design will all be of the best possible quality.

Why is the quality of ANNE SPANG clothes higher than that of many Asian tailors?
A lot of people have bought made to measure clothes for instance during a vacation to Thailand, and may be it did not meet the expectations. In Asia especially you will find a large number of tailors. Some of these are very skilled and professional but unfortunately quite a lot of them deliver clothes of an unsatisfying quality. The tailors of Asia you will meet when travelling there but also you will find them producing most of the tailor made clothes being sold through Western Internet shops. As a tourist - or when shopping online - it is very difficult to assess the quality of the fabric and the tailor work before ordering. The quality of Asian fabrics might not meet the standards for the same kind of fabric made in the Western countries. And despite the globalisation we still dress differently from one part of the world to another. Therefore a lot of people end up being disappointed.
At ANNE SPANG the high quality is our top priority. ANNE SPANG works with tailors from Asia as well as Europe but even so, we have personally visited and tested all our tailors carefully selecting the very best. In the same way we have personally tested and hand picked every single fabric for our shop and determined which basic styles to offer. Furthermore, every single piece of ANNE SPANG clothes will have to pass our strict quality control in the Danish office before being sent to the customer. To establish and maintain the very high quality of the ANNE SPANG brand we are paying attention to and controlling every little detail.



Which rights of return do I have?
The ANNE SPANG clothes are tailor made after the individual customer's body measurements and choice of fabric and design. Therefore it is not possible to cancel an order or return a product unless you discover a fault or deficiency in the product delivered. In that case please inform ANNE SPANG as soon as possible. Such products will be changed or replaced free of charge.

Why choose made-to-measure clothes?
There are a lot of good reasons for choosing tailor made clothes. No matter our size and shape we all look our best when wearing clothes with a perfect fit.
A lot of people find it difficult to find ready made clothes with a size and cut that fits perfectly. May be you find it difficult to find a shirt with sleeves long enough. May be it is difficult to find pants which fits you well around hips and waist at the same time. May be you want more influence on choice of fabric and design. When ordering tailor made clothes you can have it designed to suit your exact body the best, for instance. Or, it might be that you just won't settle for less than the perfect fit and quality.
No matter why you choose to order ANNE SPANG made to measure clothes we offer exclusive clothes in your favourite fabric and style which will fit you perfectly. And the price is not higher that for much ordinary clothes.



Which guarantee is granted?
According to the Danish sale of goods act the customer is granted a 2 years right of complaint.  And of course you have the right to return faulty or damaged products received from ANNE SPANG. If the size, the fabric or the design of your new clothes is not as ordered it will be changed or replaced free of charge. If you discover a fault, you must inform ANNE SPANG as soon as possible and return the product to ANNE SPANG.



Can I order a wrinkle-free ANNE SPANG-shirt?
All ANNE SPANG shirts are of easy-iron-quality but we have chosen not to offer the so called wrinkle-free shirts. One of the reasons for this decision is that wrinkle-free shirts require a chemical treatment with e.g. formaldehyde which closes the natural cotton fibres. Another reason is that the cotton fibres slowly separate again via contact to skin and by washing, which means that the wrinkle-free quality declines.
Please note that even thought we do not offer the chemical treated wrinkle-free shirts all the ANNE SPANG shirts are easy to iron if treated correctly. Please wash your shirt inside out at 30-40ºC. Select lowest spin dry programme. Let the shirt drip-dry on a hanger after washing. Once dry, the ironing is easy.
